Novel Study Begins Next Week!

Next week we will begin our novel study of "Charlotte's Web". We will spend the rest of the school year working with this novel, while incorporating our language arts skills.

Today we began using Prodigy - a math game that reviews our math learning expectations. The students may use this program at home as well.

Bad Weather Make Up Days

Mesquite ISD will have class on the two bad weather make-up days shown on the district calendar.  Those two make-up days are Friday, April 3, and Monday, June 8.  For high school students, both of those days will be “B” days.

 

The last two days of school will be early release days for all students.  Those days are June 5 and June 8. All schools will release at the regular time on June 4.

KEOM 88.5-FM — Mesquite ISD's award-winning, student-run radio station — offers the official word if Mesquite ISD schools are closed due to bad weather. Get updates by turning your radio dial to 88.5-FM KEOM or listen online at www.keom.fm. The district's Facebook page and website will keep the Mesquite ISD community posted, too.

"School closing decisions are made by 6 a.m.," said Administrative Officer for Communications Laura Jobe.
